Register of Action
The Register of Action tab shows a Date and one line description of documents filed with the court.
Use the Register of Action tab to:
- Check that documents you have filed were in fact filed (including proof of service)
- Check for documents any other party has filed relating to your case (this prevents being surprised by being served documents and allows more time to prepare a response if necessary)
- View a history of your case's hearings and dates
Participants
The Participants tab will show the Name and Role of all parties involved in the case.
Check this section for misspelling of names
Tentative Rulings
The Tentative Rulings page has restricted access, and you will not be able to view the contents.
Future Hearings
The Future Hearings tab displays upcoming hearings.
Many people are not notified of an upcoming hearing, and thus fail to appear in court. This reflects poorly on the person who did not know they were supposed to appear and the court may view it as disrespectful to the court itself, or grant the party that has appeared whatever they ask for. It can take years to correct what occurred in a 20-minute session where you were not present. Check, double-check, and triple-check your upcoming hearings, as they are frequently changed, last minute, without notice!
Minutes
The Minutes tab allows you to view the Date, Department, Judge, and a one line Reason. Access to this tab is somewhat limited.
This tab can be helpful in piecing together previous hearings pertaining to your case.
